Getting PJB & Jukebox Manger to work
with Windows XP
1. Download the Win2000 drivers
2. Extract the .inf and .sys files from the
Zipfile and copy to a know location.(that you will remember!)
3. Plug in your Jukebox, wait for the New Hardware
wizard to start up
4. Browse in a specific location (do you remember?
step#2)
5. Select where you extracted the .inf & .sys
files earlier
6. Ignore the fact they've not been digitally
signed.
7. It should be okay!
IF you have already tried to connect the PJBox and
the New Hardware
Wizard doesn't show up then, with the PJBox
connected:
1. Open up My Computer
2. Select 'View System Information' from the left
hand pane.
3. Select the Hardware tab
4. Select Device Manager
5. Navigate around till you find the incorrectly
installed hardware
i.e. the PJBox. It'll have a Yellow question mark
on it.
6. Right click on it
7. Select Uninstall
8. Right click again, anything within Device
Manager
9. Select Scan for Hardware Changes
10. Back to step 4 of the previous how to!
If you did the second set without the PJBox
connected then go to the
start of the first set of instructions.
now install JBM for Windows
9x/ME
This works... I've got it running on a
WinXP install. (~TomC. 02/29/02)

I've been running PJB on XP for a couple of
months now & it works
fine. I downloaded the latest version of PJBmanager (1.5.6) with
win2K drivers & it worked first time - no problems.
If you have got this version of PJBmanager already try re-installing
it but make sure you uninstall it first & delete all the files, from
memory there are a couple you have to delete manually. I can't
remember which these are but I believe there is a reference to them
in an earlier posting about a different problem about 2/3 weeks ago.
Good luck
